Made it just in time, and the sky put on a show.
This was a last-minute decision after work: grab the camera and make the 50-minute drive to Titlow Beach in Tacoma before the sun went down. I got there in the nick of time. The sky turned a deep teal overhead while the last orange light settled into the trees across Puget Sound, and the old pier pilings lined up in silhouette across the water.
Titlow Blue Hour is a calm, colorful seascape with a clean horizon and glowing reflections. Its balance of cool blues and warm gold works beautifully in a bedroom, office, or any space that could use a little Pacific Northwest calm.
Worth every mile.
